About the Show…

Chicago Kids Company’s holiday classic celebrates the 20th year of MRS. CLAUS, A HOLIDAY MUSICAL!  This show is so popular- we decided to present it in THREE different theaters in December 2019.  With three different casts!

It is the only Chicago Kids Company production that is not based on another story or fairy tale.  It was written in 1999 by Jesus Perez and features original songs composed by Paige Coffman.

It tells the story of the Elf Class of 2019 as they try to find Santa’s missing “list” in time for Christmas.  Who stole the list? How will they get it back?  Will Mrs. Claus save the day?  Chicago Kids Company’s biggest and most colorful show will put you in the Holiday Spirit in no time!  Get your tickets early…many shows sell out!

How Long is the Show?

This show has a running time of 55 minutes, with no intermission.

How Much are Single tickets?

Single Tickets on Weekday performances are $14.  On Weekend performances you can choose Standard Seating ($14), Preferred Seating ($16), or Premium Seating ($18).


Everyone over the age of 2 needs to purhcase a ticket.  (Children under the age of 2 are free if they do not require a seat).  All Teachers and Chaperones need to purchase tickets.


Yes, everyone pays the same price.  

How Much are group tickets?

Groups of 30 or more pay the discounted ticket price of $8.  For more information on Group Rates visit HERE

Can I buy tickets at the door?

We recommend purchasing your tickets at least 24 hours before the performance. This way your seats will be reserved and assigned under your name. It is possible to purchase tickets at the door (if the show is not sold out), but your seats will be on a first-come basis.

when should we arrive at the theater?

We begin seating ½ hour before each performance. Please plan on arriving ½ hour before the show to allow time to find your seats.

where can I park?

There is free parking at the theater!  The lot is adjacent to the entrance of the lobby.  

Can I pick my seats?

Yes, whether you purchase your tickets online or by phone, you can choose your seats.

what if I'm late to the show?

To cause the least amount of disruption to the performance and to other patrons, if you arrive late you’ll be seated at the discretion of the house manager, and may not be seated in your assigned seats.  

is the theater accessible?

Yes, all Chicago Kids Company’s theaters are fully accessible.  If you require wheelchair-accessible seating, please contact our Box Office at 773.205.9600.

are there handling fees for tickets purchased?

Yes, Chicago Kids Company charges a handling fee of $2 per ticket when you purchase your tickets using a credit card online or over the phone.  There is no handling fee if you pay cash, or if you book a group of 30 or more.
